On the 11th of December 2021, vegans, activists, environmentalists, and humanitarians, gathered at the Lebanese Vegans Social Hub in sin el fil to launch the 1st ever-vegan political party in Lebanon. Politics, environment, animal rights, human rights, NLP & proper communication, LGBT, and women’s rights, were all topics that were presented during this conference. guests included ted talk speakers, shelter owners, university election candidates, political party representatives, founders of vegan businesses and environmental organizations, hospital owners, social media activists, journalists, community leaders, and vegan artists.
The general atmosphere at the conference was that of positivity and inspiration. similar conferences will be organized in the future in order to create a network of people who share a common ground that will help pave the way for project cooperation with the goal of increasing productivity and community building in a country going through a rough time.
